Happy Birthday, www.mrra.asn.au

(21/3/07) MRRA's website turns 2 today.  In that time, the site has been a huge success and has scored an amazing number of hits - and compliments. Our thanks to everyone who supports us (you know who you are), we deeply appreciate it.  Check below to see what we said about our first birthday last year...

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY ...

(21/3/06)  A year ago today, on March 21st 2005, MRRA tentatively launched its website.   A 'home-grown' venture, no-one imagined at the time how it would grow  - or what a hit it would be.  Originally started to give MRRA a way of keeping members informed, it has expanded enormously.  Over the past year, the site hasn't just been popular, it has been a sensational success.

MRRA says 'thank you very much' to its Committee and members for their abiding patience, rock-solid support and endless enthusiasm.   'Thank you'  too, to those hundreds of people in MRRA's 'Keep It Rural' Network, you who come from all walks of life and give us such constructive feedback and terrific support.   The Association also deeply appreciates the contacts and interaction it has with its affiliate organisations and other community groups across Victoria - friends, united we stand!

Great thanks must also go to the MRRA website team, the people who keep the site going, who send in stories, who edit and assess, who type and colour, who cope with the enigmatic 'computer stuff' -  it wouldn't exist or work without 'em.

To us we say 'happy birthday'.  To all of you who tell us how wonderful the site is and stick by us, we say:  The next journey has already begun...  come, let's travel together.
